Wildcat Pedal Car

We were at Toys R Us recently and both kids immediately saw (and wanted) this pedal car! Anna and John could both ride it (along with many other kids in the store) It seemed sturdy, well built, adjustable (as they grow) easy to pedal and fun! I was tempted to buy 2 that day but thought I'd wait and see what Santa brings. $99.99 in store or online (or $109.99 in store assembled.)

Personalized plates and more

I found this adorable shop on etsy today while browsing their "pounce" feature. You can see items that just sold and pounce on the store that sold them to see what else they have to offer. I saw an adorable hand painted cross that sold so I clicked to see what else was to be found. I immediately ordered the custom ceramic personalized necklace for my niece's final bday present (I've been sending her gifts for the past few weeks to spread out the joy!)

What really impressed me were the custom plates and serving dishes. I love the platters for families that can be personalized (wonderful gift) and think these children's plates are just fun! And at $18.95 I think you'll find they're the best price around (others sell for $40 and up!) Got to http://www.cutiepatooties1.etsy.com/ to see everything!

Duck & Goose

Fun preschool books for your little ones. Now they're back, Duck & Goose have 3 follow ups to this original fun filled book available at www.randomehouse.com/kids.

"That egg is mine! I saw it first,” says Goose. “I touched it first. It’s mine,” declares Duck. Like James Marshall’s George and Martha, and Rosemary Wells’s Benjamin and Tulip, Duck and Goose have to work at getting along. You see, Duck doesn’t much care for Goose at first–and Goose isn’t fond of Duck–but both want the egg that each claims to be his. As the two tend to their egg, and make plans for the future, they come to appreciate one another’s strengths. And when a bluebird points out that it isn’t really an egg–it’s a polka dot ball–the two are not dismayed. After all, it is a lovely ball. . . .Filled with humor that young children will appreciate–and recognize!–and starring two unforgettable characters, Duck & Goose has all the ingredients of a classic-in-the-making.

Custom Silhouette Pendants

I have found something I must have. For me, it will be an extra special keepsake. At http://www.craftsburykids.com/ they are offering one of a kind custom silhouette pendants mady by Whitney Phippen.

Whitney will lovingly turn your child (or significant other, pet etc.), young or old, into a stylish, keepsake pendant for you to love and cherish. All we need is a profile photo. Antique drapery rings make the frames. The image is coated with a thin layer of resin to protect your loved one and the back is covered with decorative paper such as antique sheet music, book pages, and beautiful prints.

Starting at $48 I find these unique, precious gifts to be entirely affordable. I must begin my search for a profile picture of Emma, who will you do yours of?

Wubanubs at twobluepeas.com

Wubanubs provide a great way for baby to hold their binkies in place. Boy, we sure could have used these for John when he was little. In the NICU the nurses were fashioning all sorts of things to help hold his paci in place. It was funny after awhile!! He was there over 3 months so there were many new inventions each week. But I have to say, the Wubanub would have beaten all of them!! And at $10 each, they are definitely affordable!

Here we show the frog and the red dog (reminds me of Clifford!) http://www.twobluepeas.com/ says: WubbaNub™ medical grade silicone pacifiers are designed to soothe baby, are easy for tiny hands to grip, and help keep pacis securely in place as baby drifts off to sleep. Plush pacifiers equal peaceful little peas.

Lots of great baby items be sure to see them all.
