Around our home we love board books (still!) They are easy to pick up, turn the pages and read. Great for John to find his sight words and for Anna to point out the pictures. Here's some great choices (each just $6.99) from www.koboldtoys.com
Cows are always fun (Anna loves to say moo!!)
Great to help with counting!
