Cupcakes!

Www.SugarRobot.etsy.com has some of the coolest looking edible cupcake toppers I have seen around! The goldfish run $11.50 for 12 and the farm animals are $10.50. Really cute, original and perfect to dress up your cupcakes at home for a party! Also available for the fall season are edible leaves, bats and butterflies!

Cookies!

I've been looking for yummy treats for Anna & John's bday party in September and came across TSCookies (http://www.tscookies.etsy.com/) They have some really really cute cookies that make great gifts, for use at party favors or to just have something adorable to munch on!

I love these crayon cookies. These "fat" crayons are $2 each, she also has some skinnies for about $1.25 each that would make a great presentation at the party!

I just adore this back to school cookie set for $10.95! What a great gift for teacher!

Having a birthday party? If so, head on over to http://www.cheekymoppet.etsy.com/ for some cool party ideas. We just had Anna and John's birthday party last month and I did both a cake (John Deere) and cupcakes (princess.) Well I certainly would have loved to have cupcake toppers like these! She offers these custom toppers in a few different themes. I'm showing the cars theme just because I think it's so cute! This set ($7.00) comes with 12 toppers:

She also does custom matching invitations:

Cupcake molds for your next party!

Well John and Anna's birthdays are coming up in September and I'm deciding what theme to do and what I'm going to make myself (and what I'm having others make...thanks Pam for agreeing to make the super hero party favor capes!)

This year I'm thinking of doing cupcakes for the party, but not regular ones. But fun ones (thus the previous post on cupcake recipe and decorating.) But I'm really into cupcake molds, especially these from http://www.pfaltzgraff.com/index.asp that are cupcakes that are decorated as a cake! There are many different ones (alligator, car, turtle) but this train and flower mold look like the perfect pair for our birthday party. And at just $14.99 each, I think they're priced reasonably enough to buy 2!
