Hand Stamped Necklaces

These beautiful necklaces are more for you than for your children and I just love them. I have something similar (4 circles with the kids' initials surrounding Emma's fingerprint on a sterling oval.) I wear it all the time.

I think these are beautifully done and there are so many choices. Even some for your tweens and teens that I think they'll adore. But this post is mostly for mom, I think this is a gift you'll enjoy for a long time to come. www.silvermependants.etsy.com

Love you Forever Bracelet

Have you read the Love you forever children's classic book? We had it (a gift for Emma when she was in the NICU) and loved it. I found this bracelet at www.CHUNKYPunkyANDdinky.etsy.com and thought it would make a great gift for someone (or for yourself!) It reads "As long as I'm living my baby you'll be"
She will stamp your kids' names on the inside or if you have a different quote you like, just let her know and she'll make it!

Etsy Favs!

Okay, other than my own etsy shop (http://www.jlperillo.etsy.com/) I want to list some of my favorites (you've seen some before!)

First: Thanks to Pam, here is my next likely etsy purchase-the I wear your footprint hand stamped charm. These are beautiful and I am thinking of getting one in honor of Emma and one in honor of James. I wear a silver necklace with Emma's thumbprint stamped on a charm and 4 small charms stamped with their initials (A, E, J, J - 2 on earth & 2 in heaven) find it at http://www.birthdesigns.etsy.com/ for $82
For Halloween, I have purchased this mask from http://www.babypop.etsy.com/ for $4:

To go with the John Deer Tractor superhero cape Pam made me available at her store http://www.threelittlegoblins.etsy.com/:

Custom superhero capes from Pam are $15 (or less if you order multiples for a birthday party like I did!) John is going to be a John Deere Tractor Super hero for Halloween!!

Custom Silhouette Pendants

I have found something I must have. For me, it will be an extra special keepsake. At http://www.craftsburykids.com/ they are offering one of a kind custom silhouette pendants mady by Whitney Phippen.

Whitney will lovingly turn your child (or significant other, pet etc.), young or old, into a stylish, keepsake pendant for you to love and cherish. All we need is a profile photo. Antique drapery rings make the frames. The image is coated with a thin layer of resin to protect your loved one and the back is covered with decorative paper such as antique sheet music, book pages, and beautiful prints.

Starting at $48 I find these unique, precious gifts to be entirely affordable. I must begin my search for a profile picture of Emma, who will you do yours of?

Children's Name Necklace at loveivy.com

I love little girl's jewelry and always think it looks so sweet. Anna has yet to wear jewelry without trying to break (or eat!) it! Even so, after seeing this necklace I may be tempted to purchase it for her anyway. I love the beads and the letters and think it's a great gift for a little (or big!) girl.
So, if you see Anna in school with a fun name necklace, you'll know we got it at http://www.loveivy.com/ !

Beautiful Children's Jewelry

http://www.sophiescloset.etsy.com/ is a new shop to me but just the things I saw today has already made it a favorite. I am at the time where I'd like to be able to get Anna a piece of jewelry. She's almost 5, but still doesn't understand that you can't eat it (more a symptom of the down syndrome vs. the age.) Here are a few items that totally stood out for me, that I would love to purchase for her one day!

First, here is a beautiful bangle hand stamped bracelet for $25.00:

Second is a bit more pricey, but still so adorable. A Tinkle Bell jingle bell anklet for $45:

Love to Sparkles pretty princess items!

My daughter Anna has just learned to say Princess (it's hard to understand but I know what she's saying!) I have pictures of princesses in her room and point to them and say princess and point to her and say princess. She loves it and knows she is a pretty princess! (Anna is almost 5 and has down syndrome so learning to say new words is a BIG thing!!) Imagine my delight when I came across love2sparkle's Etsy shop with this super sweet princess bracelet (for just $9!!!)

But trust me, don't stop there. She has so many princess items. Look at these hair clips:

Be sure to see everything on her site: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5038948
